    It all begins with an idea. Our idea was to help underserved communities, who lack resources and money, and HBCU colleges in those areas.

    We began by forming a non-profit organization to bring expertise, promote education, and ultimately to find the funds to make those ideas real.

    Mike Burns, a Navy veteran and an executive with the EPA, developed a successful government program called CUPP - with those same goals.

    CUPP became the basis for Community and College Partners Program. Mike recruited people with a real commitment to him make it happen.

    C2P2 has already helped hundreds of students in dozens communities to build and re-build the projects that will raise them up.
