Underserved and developing communities face challenges in improving their quality of life, often lacking the technical expertise needed to access critical resources. The C2P2 program is designed to address these challenges by providing Pro Bono technical assistance from colleges and universities, based on the self-identified needs of the communities. We don’t dictate the support; we ask communities what they need.
C2P2 partners with colleges and universities to offer essential technical support to underserved communities through student internships, classroom projects, capstone, and practicum opportunities. In turn, students gain valuable real-world experience in their field of study and receive academic credit for their efforts. Importantly, they also experience the satisfaction of knowing their work has a meaningful impact on the communities they serve. Colleges and universities recognize the immense value of these experiential learning opportunities.
Corporate investments in C2P2 support two vital causes: they provide technical assistance to underserved communities and offer students hands-on learning experiences in their academic disciplines. These investments empower communities and help students become better prepared for the workforce. They also support projects that uplift neighborhoods, enhance education, and benefit all participants.
C2P2 is committed to inclusivity and does not engage in discriminatory practices in hiring, partnerships, or the selection of communities and projects. We focus on serving underserved communities and actively seek participation from the most qualified partners.
C2P2’s model has proven successful, with over 150 projects completed across more than 20 states. As we continue to grow, we look forward to expanding our impact to communities across all 50 states and internationally.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
C2P2 is the only organization offering long-term, Pro Bono support to underserved communities while ensuring our partners provide their assistance on a Pro Bono basis. Experiential learning has become increasingly important on college campuses nationwide, enhancing both the relevance and value of education. Our program bridges the gap between schools and communities, making it easy for schools to get involved. This hands-on experience not only impacts the lives of people in underserved communities, but also resonates deeply with today’s college students. Our colleges and universities do more than educate—they directly improve the lives of those in need while better preparing students for the workforce.
