Members of Purdue University and C2P2 met with members of the Biloxi Chitimacha tribe to discuss the preliminary designs of a dual purpose shelter to be used as a gathering place and learning lab during normal times, and as an emergency shelter during disaster times. This design is the tribe’s number one priority, and the students devoted their spring break to make the trip.
