Using Artificial Intelligence to Teach and Preserve Indigenous Culture, Customs and History

Mr. James Ross, former four time chief of the Gwich’in First Nations people of Alaska, from above the Arctic Circle and C2P2 Executive Director Michael Burns had the opportunity to meet with Congresswoman Mary Peltola from Alaska.  Mr. Ross has piloted an innovative way to use technology to capture the culture, customs and history of his people to educate tribal youth.  In addition, he has developed a program that uses artificial intelligence to teach and preserve indigenous language in a unique way that is easy to learn and retain.  Congresswoman Peltola enjoyed the presentation, and also had a chance to discuss with C2P2 the four projects that are being worked on in Alaska.  We appreciated her time and attention and look forward to keeping her office abreast of our continuing developments.
